Susie.

I would like to introduce you all to Susie. Susie was my first baby. Ever. Susie went everywhere with me. Susie sat in a highchair at the table when we went out to eat, along with my five imaginary children, and my imaginary husband, named Coleman. Ahem.

I could never quite bring myself to part with Susie. After all, she slept in my bed with me for like 12 years. So I saved her. And when my husband took it upon himself to clean out our room the other day, he found Susie in a box. Savannah and "Toosie" are now best friends.

I imagine that my grandma and my parents are all having flashbacks now to this...
1986...

Good old Susie. Her clothing styles may have changed and she may be waaaaay dirtier now than she used to be, but she's back... and better than ever.

That's awesome :) Makes me want to go to my parents' house and find my old favorite doll for Karis!

I love the picture of you, circa 1986. Classic. My cousin had a baby doll once back in the 80's. But this doll was unique. This doll had all of her hair pulled out by my cousin and so instead of long beautiful locks, it had hair spikes. Instead of being called something like, something like "susie," this doll was lovingly called "the bald-headed geek" by her dad, my uncle. And so whenever they told her to get her "bald-headed geek" she knew right where to go.

The end. :)
