Tummy Issues

Some of you know that Savannah has been having tummy issues. At least once per week, she has a day where she has terrible diarrhea...and its so acidic that it instantly blisters her bottom. Then, we can't even use baby wipes because it hurts so bad and we have to use wet paper towels. Last week, I took her into the doctor and they drew blood and took a stool sample. All of those tests came back fine, so they are sending her to a pediatric gi specialist (the same guy she saw back when she had reflux) on March 31 and hopefully he can help us out a little more. I feel so bad for her - to be fine one day and having that awful stuff the next. She had it last week from Tuesday-Friday, and already yesterday (Wednesday), it started up again. The doctor said, and I agree, that it just shouldn't be ongoing - if its going to be like that, it should be a virus and then be gone. But the fact that its ongoing means we need to figure out why. It could be something as simple as a food allergy (I say simple but I know that would be complicated to watch out for) or it could be something in her intestines. So please pray that the doctor will have wisdom and clarity, and be able to solve our problem pretty quickly, for the sake of one little tiny bottom. :)
