Last night, we had the opportunity to have a girls night out while the babies slept and Marlene sat with them. So, we loaded ourselves into the car and drove 45 minutes to Savannah, Georgia. I enjoyed driving through the picturesque old town that my sweet baby is named after. It is a town of timeless beauty and southern romance, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. We enjoyed the gorgeous scenery while driving under the trees covered in Spanish moss and the view of the boats in the water. What a fun drive!
However, we had chosen to go see a movie in what was apparently the ghetto section of Savannah. Who knew?! We were the only three people in the whole theater. Seriously. And only one guy worked there. Seriously. And they had the worst popcorn EVER. Seriously. And it was 50 degrees in there. Seriously.
So we did what three good friends would do. We sat right in the middle of the theater, huddled close to stay warm, and laughed our heads off. It was a fabulous night!
