Three Months Old

I thought I'd take a break from beach pictures for today, because Brooklyn is now three months old. Can you believe it?

The past month has been full of changes for my sweet baby. First of all, we finally retired the preemie clothes, and most of the newborns too! This girl is growing!!! She started cooing and smiling consistently, and it has been so much fun to interact with her. Because her eyes are still developing, you have to get very close to her, but when you do, you are often rewarded with big smiles and lots of cute noises. She loves to lay on a blanket, kick her legs, and talk talk talk.

Brooklyn is still sleeping a lot. She takes four naps every day. She goes to bed around 9:30pm, wakes up around 2 or 3am, and again at 6am. She gets up between 8 and 9 am. During the day, she is eating every three to four hours. She can start on cereal this month, but since she is doing so well with nursing, I may hold her off a little longer. She is certainly getting all she needs to gain weight!

She is very snuggly. She loves to be held or snuggled, and I love it too! She very sweet and content most of the time, but is happiest when she is being held by Momma.
