Chubby Bunny.

Did you ever play that game...Chubby Bunny?

The one where you stuff giant marshmallows in your mouth and then say "Chubby Bunny"?
Whoever fits the most in there and can still talk wins.
I was the best at that game. No wise cracks, please.
I love me some marshmallows. And I have big cheeks.

For real, if I gain five pounds, it all goes to my face first. Not other, flatter areas.
Ahem. Its unfortunate.

Which is why I can't pull off short hair without looking chubby. Neither can this kid.

I know. You aren't supposed to make fun of fat people. But I'm not making fun. Really.

I find both of her chins (and she's getting close to three!) and her big cheeks endearing.

I'm hoping she gets leg rolls next. Seriously. I love chubby babies.

I'll apologize for giving her the fat face look when she gets older. And I'll teach her, as my Aunt Nay-Nay taught me, never take a picture at an upward angle. Good advice.

But for right now, I love my little chubby bunny.

Shoot Like a Girl.

When you ask someone what they got for Mother's Day, most people probably won't tell you that they got a gun. That would be awkward. Whaaat?! A gun?!

Ask me what I got for Mother's Day.

A gun.

A pink handgun.

I love to shoot with the guys (and sometimes I outshoot them, ahem)...
but until now I didn't have my own firearm.

Bring it on, boys.

Uncle B - The Graduate!

Today we went to see Uncle B graduate from college!

He got his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.

This is the way to endure a three hour graduation ceremony right here.

Yay, Uncle B! We are so proud of you!

We were hot and tired, but so proud of him!

And then the toddler had enough.
Me too.

Congratulations, B!!!

Not Me Monday

I'm not clumsy enough to repeatedly trip over the foot of Brooklyn's bouncy seat, causing the two of us whiplash on multiple occasions. Its not so bad that Savannah now warns me to watch out for the seat. Not me!

I've never gotten so far behind on laundry that it took 12 loads to catch up. Not me!

I never pass where I'm supposed to turn and then realize it after the fact. Not me!

I'm not relieved after 9 months of potty training that we are accident-free for 48 hours. That would be simply ridiculous. Not me!

I've never left to run errands and arrived home and realized that I forgot one. Not me!

I've never put taco shells in the oven and forgotten to set a timer. I mean, how hard is it to push a button?! Not me!

I didn't clean out my fridge yesterday and find leftovers from Easter. Uhm, ew. Not me!
