Playtime in the AC

It is my humble opinion that 103 degrees = too hot to play outside.

But thats just me.

So, a few weeks ago, we headed to Pump It Up with Sydney.

Good times were had by all... in the wonderful AC.

Thank goodness a "cold front" shortly followed and brought the temps down to the 90's.

I'm over these extreme temperatures. Hawaii has the right idea. Just sayin.

Cereal.

Well, my little B was getting hungry.
Hungrier, that is.
So, I figured it was time for cereal.



I wasn't sure how it would go...



But I think she liked it!



Cereal feeding #1 = success!

Thankful.

Our water pump in our jeep went bad this past week. And I'm thankful.
Do you know why?

Because we have a 36,000 mile warranty, thats why.

Date Two

For date two, we decided to try a new place. We NEVER try new places.
We had a gift certificate to 202 Market in downtown...which we've never used. You know, because its a new place. So, we headed down there.






The food was pretty good, but I wouldn't rank it with my favorite, Olive Garden. :)

Then, we grabbed some coffee...walked around downtown...



And drove up to "the star." If you aren't familiar with the town I live it, our claim to fame is a giant star. If you drive up to it, you can see the whole city.





Lame and cheesy, I know. But it was fun.

Stay tuned for date three...it'll be the hubby's turn to plan!

Like a Country Song...

There is a line in a country song that reminds me of my oldest girl...

it says, "there's a blue-eyed blonde with shoes on wrong 'cause she likes to dress herself."

Savannah dressed herself. And she did her own hair.



And did you notice her lipstick? She wants to be just like momma.



She even drank my coffee. Just kiddin. She's naturally this perky.
