Praying for Savannah

To kick off the month of February on the right foot, I wanted to post a list of things for which you can be praying with us! Most of them are for Savannah, but there are few for our whole family as well. Being a mother has definitely kept me praying constantly, and we'd appreciate it if you'd pray with us!

1. Pray for Savannah to be protected from physical harm and sickness, especially with all of the germs out there this time of year!


2. Pray that she will learn to like her car seat (she screams pretty much all the way to any destination, and it makes her Momma very edgy.)


3. Pray that the two teeth she is working on will come quickly, and without much pain.


4. Pray for better sleeping habits.


5. Pray that Savannah will continue to develop a sweet spirit.


6. Pray for Savannah's salvation one day (it is never to early to start asking the Lord for this!).


7. Pray for Daddy and Momma to have wisdom in deciding whether or not to put their house on the market in the spring.

Standing Tall

Well, today Savannah is officially 5 months old, and I think she felt that she needed to do something noteworthy on this day to prove that she is indeed growing older.

So, she stood up on the couch!!! She kind of did it last night with her daddy holding her, but today she saw her book and there was no stopping her. And she was pretty proud of herself too!

Our little baby is growing so fast! Can somebody slow down the time?!

(Please excuse the runny nose... evidently somehow it is related to teething and no matter how many times I wipe it, it just runs more. And have you seen what a baby does when you try to wipe her nose?!)

Its That Kind of Day!

After a long and rather sleepless night (thanks to two little teeth threatening to burst through the gums at any second...) Savannah decided it was time to relax.

We're wishing you a laid-back relaxing Wednesday as well! (That is what day it is...right?!)

5 Months Old and Growing!

This week marks Savannah's fifth month and here is what we've been up to:

It has been a very blessed 5 months with our wonderful little blessing! We love our darling baby girl!

Here we go!

Well, here it is. It has arrived. Its the Beckner Bulletin.

After several months of intense peer pressure, I have given in and created a blog.

I'll try to post as often as I can, and share all of Savannah's new adventures with you!
