Its Beginning to Look a Lot Like...

Santa might be visiting later this week! Now as a child, I was always taught that the elves helped Santa assemble the toys... but I'm thinking this is a pretty big elf...

At any rate, he made a very good elf, having the whole thing assembled in about 12 minutes. :) I'm sure the toys will get much more difficult as the years progress. Anyone have a guess at what Santa might be bringing Savannah on Christmas morning?! :)

Here Comes Santa...

Last night, we went to have dinner with our friends, the Dickinsons. They thought the girls needed a little practice opening presents before Christmas! Hooray!

They got cabbage patch babies that matched them! Thanks, Jon and Gina!!!

But lets be honest, the real fun came when they figured out they could throw toys through the gate, down the stairs, and the dog would retrieve them.

Does this make them naughty? You decide. :)

What a Bargain!

Have I ranted and raved on here about how much I love shopping for baby clothes on ebay? Because I really should. I know everyone comes to this page to see pictures of Savannah, so I've included some for your viewing pleasure. But I need to tell the moms out there that ebay is the way to go. :) I got a faux fur coat from the Children's Place through ebay (originally $39) with the tags still attached, for $12. I also got these cute overalls (above) for $9. And a Christmas dress, for $0.99! And I didn't wait in line, or have to try to keep a toddler quiet in a stroller... everyone should shop on ebay! :) So thats my advertisement for the day... hope you enjoyed the pictures! :)

Its That Time of Year...

Well, its Christmas, so we made an appointment at Sears to have family pictures taken. We've done all of Savannah's indoor portraits there, and they have always been great and wallet-friendly. Next year, we will do this in like... August. Our appointment was at 6:15... our pictures were taken at about 7:30, and we left Sears at 9pm with a very grumpy, hungry, sleepy toddler. There were about 2395829587589 kids in there having their pictures made against their will, and it was like 80 degrees in the studio...probably from all of the parents yelling at all of the uncooperative kids. So, if the pictures look a little funny, its because Savannah had no interest in taking pictures way past dinnertime and her bedtime! And neither did Darren, haha! :)

Darren trying way too hard to look a lot happier than he was...haha...

I like this one...

Does this make the window look fake, Mom?

I like this one too...

We did get a few good pictures of out the experience, and Darren walked out of Sears and said, "So I don't have to do that again until next Christmas, right?" Haha.

Peek-A-Boo

Well, we've officially reached that age. The one where your kid says or does something and you think...oh, great.

Last night, we ate dinner at a restaurant, and then Savannah needed a major diaper change. I headed to the bathroom with her and, sparing you all of the gory details, it was quite a mess. After about 100 wipes, I got her all cleaned up and I stood her on the floor and said... "Ok Savannah, I want you to stand right here while Mommy washes her hands." She stood there for a minute, and then before I could stop her, she bends over, looks under the stall at a lady sitting on the toilet and says, "PEEK-A-BOO!!!!"

Oh, dear.

Pump It Up

We went to Pump It Up yesterday with Melisa, Carrie, Ella Grace, Mary, Hannah, and Sam! It was so much fun!

Here is Savannah coming down the slide with Miss Carrie.

And Miss Melisa played basketball with her!

It was really hard to walk in there, but it was fun!

Here is Savannah with Hannah and Ella Grace.

We had some tired kids when it was all over!!! :) Savannah went home and took TWO naps. :) Hooray for friends and fun activities!
