Queen Bee

I finally got a few minutes to edit the pictures from the other day. Here are the closeups we managed to get. :) What a ham!

She's Worth a Million Bucks

This morning, Savannah did a small baby pageant in Salem called the Million Dollar Baby Model Search and Pageant. She did great! She smiled, clapped, and carried on while she was on the stage, and then she exited a little prematurely (while the MC was still talking about her) and yelled "bye-bye" to the judges. I wasn't sure how she would do in light of her early exit! :)

She won awards for "best smile" and "best hair" for her age division...



And she won the highpoint award, which means she had the single highest combined score of any contestant in the whole pageant (which went up to age 18!). She was crowned "Superstar Model".

Here she is with some of the queens. Congrats, Savannah and her court!!!

She won a tote bag, duffle bag, t-shirt, trophy, crown, sash, and trip to Williamsburg to compete in the state finals in July (we'll decide if we're going once it gets closer). Apparently, the judges think she's a superstar and worth a million bucks. But then again, her Momma already knew that. :) Way to go, Savannah!!!!

Two Days Later

Okay, so maybe the hair doesn't look that great the morning after sponge rollers... but two days after... without washing... it looks fabulous. I put her curlers in on Monday night... and these were taken Wednesday afternoon. And yes, we did bathe her, I just don't wash her hair every day so it won't dry out! :)

Fun With Friends

Last night, we had a full house! Mary and Will came over with their kids, Jacob, Hannah, and Sam. And Mike and Lauren came over with their daughter, Anna! (Yes, we had a Hannah, Anna, and Savannah... just try saying that.) It was a blast!!!

Poor Sasha had to hide from the kids.


Anna and Savannah emptied the toybox...


And tried to sit in the same chair...


And after a few mins of playing together, it was nothing but love with these two! They are going to be the best of buddies.

Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of Jacob, Hannah, or Sam. They were busy playing with the monopoly pieces! Oh well, I guess that means we'll just have to get together again soon!
