Merry Christmas Night!

Merry Christmas Night!

"My first fishing hat" from Bass Pro Shops. :)

Savannah got a beanbag chair from Mimi and Grandad...and apparently it was pretty comfortable...

Very, very comfy!!!

Night, night!

Pretty appropriate, don't you think, Granny?! :)

Grandad brought Savannah this Japanese dress from...you guessed it...Japan! She'll need to grow into it, but it sure is cute! And she loved it because it felt just like the silk from her blankie!

And then she had to give Momma a hug. I love this little snuggly girl!

And last but not least... she got a kitchen!!! (Which Daddy had to assemble later.)

We had a fabulous Christmas and are very blessed! Sorry I was so delayed in posting pictures... there were just sooo many!!!! :)

Merry Christmas Morning!

Christmas morning arrived and we had everyone over for our annual Christmas Morning Breakfast. We ate, and then it was time to open presents.

Of course, the paper was about an interesting as the presents.

But, she opened a book and decided we had to read it right then.

Auntie Em is so pretty!

After we opened presents, we had to go outside and see what Santa brought!

And then when we came back inside, Grandad discovered that sometime Santa (or maybe Mimi?!) still leaves things for 50-year-olds, too! :)
An arrow for a crossbow? Gee, thanks Santa, but I don't have a crossbow...
Or maybe I do now!!!

Look out, deer. And thank you, dear. :)

After all of that, Savannah was badly in need of a nap... so everyone departed, and Savannah rested for a while before we headed over to Mimi's house for MORE presents (I'll post pictures from there later...)... :)

Merry Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, we headed over to my grandmother's house, and Savannah played with my cousins, Madison and Brooke...

After that, we headed over to Darren's parents' house, where a huge group of extended family gathered for their Christmas Eve tradition of exchanging home-made gifts.

I know it looks like something weird is growing out of my hair, but there was a wreath on the door behind me. :)

All of the Beckner ladies...

And then... what do you know... Hannah Montana made an appearance!

Thank you to sweet little Tiffany for being kind enough to let Savannah drool on your new Hannah Montana toys! :)
We didn't get any more pictures because we headed home early with a very tired little girl who had to get in bed so Santa could come!!!! :)

And so it begins...

Yesterday, we started celebrating Christmas early with Darren's immediate family. First, we had to get ready...

And fix our hair...

And then cook dinner...

And then it was time to open presents! Savannah passed them out.

I always enjoy the reactions from others when presents are being opened.

But the best reaction of all was Emily's reaction when she opened her snowboard...

Savannah got a little chair that was just her size and she loved it...

And she had to show off her cute side...

But then she was pretty tired, so we headed home...

There is more fun to come though! Merry Christmas Eve to you all!
